Winter Blahs

"Every mile is two in winter. "
~George Herbert

I wish I jumped more on this thing more often. As I am typing, I reminded of how nice it is to journal again. However, since the deletion of the school corporation getting rid of blogs, etc because of MySpace, I am unable to blog at work. I am glad that spring is in sight, as the winter depression has got to go. It's ridiculaous. I have watched wasy, way too much tv this winter due to having cable. I am getting ready to get rid of it. It is running my life!!! hee hee I have never been a big tv person, but this winter I ahve been in fromt of the tube when I really needed to be doing other activities. I think a big part of it was not havign a dog. Having a dog forced me to do a lot of stuff besides catching every episode known to man of every reality show possible. Hopefully the house thing will come into fruition soon so that I can have a dog again. That's all I am really waiting for.

Hurray for daylight savings time tonight!!!

IU

Went to an IU game with dad in February. It was so nice to go up there with him. We had a good time. Got one of the week night games though so we didn't spend a huge amount of time up there, but enough time to get the kids a bunch of IU wear at Steve & Barry's. Now they won't be wearing those stinkin UK shirts anymore if I have anything to do with it. We had such a good time that we decided to try & make it a yearly dad-daughter thing. GO IU!!

Nat & Jack update

I haven't done an update on Natalie and Jack in a bit. Need to get some new pics up. At any rate, Natalie is getting reawdy to do her 1st Communion this year so she has been getting ready for that. I went over last night & she told me all sorts of information about communion. It's too cute. Whats even cuter is that she's wearing Heather' s dress, which was an exact replica of mine, so that's cool. Unlike both of us though, she's decided to opt for a veil.

Jack is a puppy. And I mean he's really a puppy. Ever since securing a puppy of his own, he has transformed into this thing where Heather has to ask whether it was Jack or the puppy that has torn the house to pieces. I guess that's why they call them man's best friend.....I dunno. Anyway, he has about given up on still trying to ride Charlie. He has realized that Charlie is never really gonna let him ride him. Its the cutest thing in the world, as Jack has someobne to boss around versus being bossed by Natalie. I knew that dog thing was a great idea........

2-4-6-8!!!

A good cheerleader is not measured by the height of her jumps but by the span of her spirit. ~Author Unknown

I haven't been on this thing for a bit. I have been into the throws of cheerleading coaching. It was one of those extra cirricular activities that I was nominated for. It wasn't as bad as I ahd anticipated. It was actually somewhat fun. The girls knew a ton more about cheering than I did, so I was just there to basically make sure no one got hurt. The girl's basketball at my school went to the championship, so the season lasted longer than I thought. At any rate, I have that activity behind me & I am now sitting here at my computer procrastinating doing grades on a Saturday night. I ghave been procrastinating since about 10 am this morn. Since that time, I have actually cleaned house instead. You know I am proccrastinating somethign when I am cleaning the house! At any rate, I thought I would update & say hello amidst the cat hair that is still yet to be cleaned on my desk as I am seeing here. There's always tomorrow..........
