Scary Girls

We look like we are doing something for the Blair Witch Project in this trippy pic.

"Can I offer you a shift change?"

Sister Heather is the blonde...Derby 2005 was an excellent time.....so much that on-call sister had to ask clients if they might be interested in a shift change.

Colin Moriarty/DJMeathammer &Shan...summer mohawk

The summer hawk was definitely worth a try. The Napoleon Dynamite T-shirt says it best..."Don't be jealous Napoleon because I am checking out chicks on the internet"

Is this a blurry picture because we're blurry too?

Good times at the Italian Fest....no better way to celebrate Shannon's 30th. My first experience to the annual event....will definitely go back for the meatball subs...

True dork

Back in my previous life where I had a cubicle in Indy. Cubicle....such a dirty word....heehee

Where did the summer go?

I am writing a lot today because my busy schedule probably won't allow for me to do a lot the rest of the week. This past month has been a whirlwind, as school has started and it's now going full swing. I am in first grade, where I have 22 kiddos calling me Miss Hock. My body is still getting adjusted to the lack of sleep from moving my sleeping hours from 9am (on summer break) to 6am. However, it's nice to be back on a schedule and I am happily starting off the school year more organized than last. This year is fun in the fact that my niece Natalie is a first grader this year. It's an interesting perspective that I didn't really have last year.

I had a great summer. I went on vacation with my family, relaxed at my sister's pool, worked out, went to Dylan/Willie Nelson, learned how to live on a budget better and spent several weekends with friends in Indy. (just to name a few) I had a better tan than I have had in years, but it's quickly fading---as is the summer..... I decided not to do something extravagant this summer, in exchange for some rest that I desperately needed. All in all, it was a great summer.

I hope to have some pics of up soon, preferably of my Natalie and Jack, my classroom and myself. I will try to get to that this weekend.

My first day!

I am very excited to have my own blog. I have wanted to do it for awhile, but haven't had the time. However, now I am making a blog for my classroom so I decided to kill l2 birds with one stone! Since I have been really bad about keeping in touch, I am hoping that this will be a better way for me to keep everyone updated. i know that I use my friend Blueher (now Koch.....whoops!) to keep abreast of all her happenmings. Hopefully, within the next couple of weeks I will get a chance to get some pics up to share of my classroom, pets, & overall world these days.
