A Little Time Left

The summer is officially coming to a close & I am pretty sad about it, as I have had a great summer. I haven't been as extremely productive as I was last summer, as far as following a schedule for fitness--but other than that, I have stayed on the same track for some things. I have read a lot this summer. Heather & I got all of the Jodi Picoult novels & have been passing them back & forth. I have taken a break with the reading since probably around July the 4th, as there have been other recent distractions.

The house is in order, and I have had several visitors the last couple of weeks popping in. It feels nice to entertain at some place other than that apartment. The hot tub is definitely getting more use than I thought it would, as I thought it would be mostly used in the colder weather. (at least that's when I really like a hot tub) It's a new novelty, I guess.

This will be my last weekend before I go to Lollapalooza. I have been listening to music all summer, as ipod playlists were getting old (from not having time during the school year to update) & have been replaced with new jams. After Lollapalooza summer is pretty much over----but I am not thinking about that..............................

New Move

I am stoked about having my own place. I will post up some pics as soon as I get somer extra time. It's wonderful to have plenty of room to spread out all of my items. My house seems a lot cleasner than any apartment than I have ever had. The past couple of weeks have been somewhat surreal in the fact that it still doesn't seem that I havefound this place............it was like destined to be mine. When I walk through the door, I feel truly "at home" and everything that that encompasses. I average living somewhere for no more than2 years my whole life. I havemoved at least every 2 years since I was like 12. The whole concept is a hard one to put my mind around but I'm getting used to it.

Vacation

Had another fabulous time on vacation with the family. I am so lucky to be able to tag along on an annual event that my family & I look forward to all summer. This year we went earlier than usual---but it was a good thing bwecause it set the tone for the rest ofthe summer. I felt truly rested after coming back & after a year of being wound up so tight. The kids are at an amazing age & were a pure delight to be around. Heath & I had a great time as well. Mom is so much fun too. I cannot say enough good things about my time this year. I was stoked to be amongst one of my favorite places---the beach---with my favorite peeps. Yeah!!!
