Teaching

My voyage in teaching this year has been so different than last year. That's the beauty of teaching! Anyway, I could go on and on about my current year this year but I am afraid that I might lose you to all of the details. Besides, I don't want readers/friends to get that glaze over their eyes like others sometimes do when I am talking at length about my crazy, everyday life. At any rate, this year has been different in the fact that last year I felt I was dong more teaching that psychology; this year is more flip flop in this respect. Therefore, I think that my blogs may be more introspective and an opportunity to use this thing as the therapy that I desire. With the pen being mightier than the sword, (for me many times anyway) I am hoping that I will be journaling more.

On a totally seperate note, I am having one of those weekends that makes me realize how separate "real life" is from my "teaching life". That is to say that I am having a weekend of complete debauchery. I know that on Monday I will be in front of my students at some point saying something like, "Your education is your ticket to freedom!" and then I will remember myself only days before drunk and stumbling through my apartment fumbling for the light-switch. And I will be tickled.
